School Eligibility

Eligible schools are New York State public high schools presenting a full-length licensed musical production between January and April of 2026.  Eligible schools must be located within 50 geographic miles of Binghamton University.

Participation guidelines listed here are required to ensure equity, rigor, and professionalism in the adjudication and workshop experience for all participants.

​

 Participating Schools Will Be Required to Provide:​

​

  • A Single $150.00 Participation Fee, Used to Fund Program Events 

  • A Total of 6 Reserved Complementary Tickets for Adjudicators

  • A Qualified Adult to Serve as a Peer Adjudicator for Another School's Production

  • A Quality Photo and Short Biography for Each Nominee 

  • Video Footage of 1 Production Number (If Needed for Final Determination of Production Awards)​

  • Participation Permission Slips

  • Production Feedback and Adjudication Scores for Directors 

  • Binghamton University Workshop Participation for Nominees (at least 3 per school), Focusing on Skill Development, Educational Growth, Networking Opportunities, and Community Engagement 

  • Recognition of Production Staff, Student Performers, and Student Technicians in a Public Awards Ceremony
